Greg Van Wagner

Wine Director, PARC Aspen | Creator, SommGeo | Collaborator, Ajax Cellars

Greg Van Wagner found his passion for wine and hospitality after joining a Boulder cycling team and relocating to Colorado in 2006. His journey led him to work at renowned establishments such as Frasca Food & Wine, Oak at Fourteenth in Boulder, and Element 47 at the Little Nell in Aspen. He went on to become the Wine Director at Jimmy’s Restaurant in Aspen, overseeing a thriving wine program with over 1000 selections. He now continues his career as the Wine Director of Parc Aspen, leveraging his expertise as an Advanced Sommelier. Alongside his career, Greg's love for exploration takes him to wine and spirits regions worldwide, culminating in the creation of SommGeo, a tool to share his knowledge and experiences with US wine professionals through an intersection with leading national trade network, SommFoundation.
