Mike Boswell is the Vice President of Digital and eCommerce at Breakthru Beverage Group, a leading US beverage alcohol wholesaler. In his role, he is responsible for long-term digital strategy, the development and growth of Breakthru’s proprietary B2B eCommerce platform BREAKTHRU NOW, B2C eCommerce programming and growth, and digital marketing programming to the trade on behalf of Breakthru’s supplier partners.
He was previously the Vice President of Corporate Strategy where he collaborated with the executive team to develop Breakthru’s highly successful long-term corporate strategy, which is currently in its fourth year.
Prior to Breakthru, Mike was an advisor to executives across multiple strategy consulting firms including the Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on CPG and Retail growth and transformation work. Mike started his professional career as a Nuclear Engineer and Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, completing 3 deployments to the Indian Ocean and Arabian Gulf during his tenure. Mike has an MBA (with distinction) from Columbia Business School and a BSFS from Georgetown University. He lives in Chicago with his wife and two daughters.
