I am a midwest girl through and through, coming from the northwest suburbs of Chicago! I started in the industry at a young age and really found a passion for wine early. I began working in wine bars during college to really hone my new found skill that catered to the real nerd I was for wine. But, I was truly thrown into the deep end of the Italian wine pool at 23 years old, working with a Master Sommelier consulting in Iowa, who really opened my eyes to the romance and vast pairing possibilities for Italian wine.

I came back home to Chicago to go on and work with amazing wine professionals and mentors first at RPM Italian as a sommelier and then later finding a home at Spiaggia as part of their management team. Truly some of the great Italian wine cellars in Chicago that kept my passion for Italian wine ignited!  But, after the painful realization that Spiaggia was lost to the pandemic, I decided to find a new home and was welcomed by the Adalina team. I was given a great opportunity to showcase a wonderful wine list at Adalina that really spoke from my great love affair with Italian wine, culture, attitude, and food.
