Cantine Europa was founded in 1962 in the city of Petrosino. The winery is famous for being an important social cooperative of winegrowers and one of the largest wineries in Sicily. Today, Cantine Europa is the first producer of “Grillo” all over the world. The winery has around 2000 winegrower members and 6000 hectars/14.826 acres in the areas of Trapani, Agrigento and Palermo. The annual wine production stands at 400.000 hectoliters. In 2014 was founded the brand of Cantine Europa with the name of Sibiliana Vini. The objective of the brand is to carefully select the vineyards and grapes to produce the best wines offered by our territory. The brand wants to interpret, with an analogy, the concept of a "lighthouse" of the territory, which is inspired by "the Sibiliana Tower", still intact and located on the coast of Western Sicily in the municipality of Petrosino.
