The story of Mar Azul began with an idea: For years, I dreamed of bringing authentic, delicious, and hand-crafted tequila to the United States. In 2010, I was able to turn that dream into a reality. We launched Mar Azul Tequila in San Antonio, Texas, and we will be forever grateful to this wonderful city for opening their doors to our brand. Several years aer opening Mar Azul, I was joined by my daughter Susie – her impressive skill set gave Mar Azul a new structure and identity, while allowing us to form an unbeatable mother-daughter duo. Now as a family-owned company, Mar Azul Tequila is ready to take on new challenges, bringing our unique flavors and high-quality brand to new markets across the United States. At Mar Azul, we are committed to creating tequila the way it has been for centuries, sourcing our Blue Weber Agave from the State of Jalisco and using traditional techniques that give Mar Azul its unique flavor profile. Alongside Silver, Reposado, and Añejo, we offer a unique habanero blended Reposado blended, inspired by Susie’s passion for spice.
