Perticaia

Historical producer in Montefalco - Umbrie (Italy)

Wine

In the archaic Umbrian language “Perticaia” means the plow, a distinctive symbol of agriculture. Ploughing signed the passage from the sheep farming to agriculture, a strong local rooting. The cellar and vineyards are located in Casale, one of the most prestigious MGA of Montefalco, here we tend our vines following organic protocols. Vines grown in full respect of the environment, nature and ecosystem. We are bio-organic certified and produce 12.500 cases under the most representative Classics from that area such as Montefalco Sagrantino Docg, Montefalco Rosso Doc unless to say Trebbiano Spoletino Doc and Grechetto Umbria igt. We were one of the first cellars to emerge from this area and let Trebbiano Spoletino get back on track again. A special and unique clones selection to be discovered! Looking for distribution to Illinois / Missouri.
