GRAFE LECOCQ SA - importer, Logistics Edge LLC

Since 1879, GRAFE LECOCQ has been ageing select French wines in oak barrels within caves under the fortress of Namur, Belgium.

Wine

The last remaining Eleveur–Negociant in Belgium, GRAFE LECOCQ – in the care and management of the Grafe Family -- has been aging select regional French wines in oak barrels since 1879. Every wine bears our signature, attesting to rigorous attention to quality. In the crucial first stage, every year, the family members travel to select raw wines from the various French wine-growing regions. Those selected present a good aging potential, and a character that represents that terroir. Only wines that have a confirmed personality, and are recognized by an appellation of origin are chosen. The selection is through successive blind tasting sessions, of several hundred samples. These are raw wines, at the end of fermentation.
