Drop Zone Distilling is Founded by Rod Parton, a 4th generation moonshiner and Desert Storm Veteran. Rod spend 8 years in the military mostly assigned to the 82nd Airborne Div and a Paratrooper, thus the company name, Drop Zone. Rod Parton would leave the military and spend 28 years in law enforcement leaving the TN Highway Patrol in 2017. During that time he would also spend time with the Fire Department where we served on the dive and recovery team. Drop Zone Distilling is not only a Moonshine Distillery but they also produce their own line of Vodka, Rum and Whiskey\'s.
