CLOS PONS is a boutique winery located in the Les Garriques district of Spain (DO Costers del Segre) which produces rich, full-bodied wines of outstanding quality. All of them are estate-grown, and are inspired by a natural, sustainable farming. All our 41 ha. of vineyard are organic certified since 2013. Extreme climate conditions and poor soils are the features of our organic vineyards located at 500-700 m altitude. These special conditions allow us to make top quality wines with a modern and an international profile. CLOS PONS wines are the expression of their terroir. Unique environment Costers del Segre means \'the banks of the River Segre\', which flows down from the Pyrenees and joins the River Ebro just south of Lleida. Our vineyards are located in Les Garrigues district, at an altitude of between 500 and 700 metres, around the towns of L’Albagés and La Pobla de Cérvoles. Extreme temperatures, low rainfall and stony soil with different mineral compositions and poor in organic matter make this environment truly unique. Sustainable agriculture & organic farming At Clos Pons we are committed to sustainable agriculture with maximum respect for the environment. Our vineyard is certified organic. (CCPAE “Organic” Farming Certified). Boutique winery With a limited production of premium wines, at Clos Pons we embrace a boutique winemaking philosophy. All our wines are grown, produced and bottled on the property.
