As we return to on-site events once more, the safety of our attendees (and industry at large) is a top priority. As such, we will be adhering to the most up-to-date guidelines by the city of Chicago and the state of Illinois. All attendees are required to provide proof of fully vaccinated status* OR proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test** to attend the show.
*Fully vaccinated
- Definition: People are considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19: two weeks or more after they have received the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna or other vaccine authorized by the World Health Organization), or two weeks or more after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson and Johnson [J&J]/Janssen). See current CDPH Guidance for Fully Vaccinated Persons for definitions, acceptable vaccines, and updates on additional vaccines as they are approved.
- Verification: See current Options for Providing Proof of Vaccination in the CDPH Vaccine Record Guidelines & Standards for acceptable methods of vaccine verification.
** Pre-entry negative testing
- Definition: Testing must be conducted within 72 hours before event start time (both PCR and antigen are acceptable). Results of the test must be available prior to entry into the event or venue.
- Verification: See current CDPH Updated Testing Guidance for acceptable methods of proof of negative COVID-19 test result.
Along with updating our floorplan to allow for larger aisles to accommodate social distancing, we will also require masks to be worn by all attendees while indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
Please note that these requirements are for everyone in attendance –visitors, exhibitors, vendors, media, speakers, and staff are expected to comply with our health and safety requirements.
Please be sure to plan accordingly.
