In today’s fast-paced world filled with ambitious, upward-looking employees, companies will live and die by their recruiting and training. This talk will walk you through the quandary of attracting talented employees while also retaining your best talent for many years to come. We are only as strong as the team we have out in the field and there is a science behind building that team. Learn how to stay relevant, how to become desirable and what it takes to have a company that people want to work for!

Around the Boston area for over 10 years. Working his way up from a dishwasher and a busboy to a Beverage Director and holding every position in between. His career in sales started in the on-premise trade for a distributor in downtown Boston, calling on just under 100 of the top restaurants in the city. From there Matt progressed onto the Importer side of the business, working for small Spain Based Importer, Aveniu Brands, a large Italian focused importer, Palm Bay International, and a French & Italian Focused company, Frederick Wildman & Sons. Working in various capacities, from Key Account Manager to Area Manager, to Regional Manager, to Division Manager and Assistant Vice President before finding his home at Opici Wines. In his current position of Senior Vice President – National Sales, Matt is responsible for the United States and a team of 17 sales professionals across the country.
