Jonathan Kendrick, co-founder and Chairman of ROK Stars, is a highly successful serial entrepreneur. Jonathan began his business career through securing the European rights to then-unknown Yokohama tyres brand (which, having successfully brought to market, he sold back to Yokohama). Recognizing, early on, the enormous potential of the mobile industry, Jonathan founded ROK to create the technology to simplify the process of pre-paid vouchers for mobile phones. Jonathan sold ROK’s electronic voucher technology to a leading mobile industry player in 2002 whilst retaining the ROK brand – which he re-launched with co-founder, John Paul DeJoria. ROK Stars is his latest launch created to garner investment for the very best new products and brands with game changing potential within each sector.

In 1308 the Aktien Brewery of Kaufbeuren, along with its cellars, courtyard and barns, was donated to the citizens of Kaufbeuren by Henry Twinger, a wealthy local Baron. To ensure only the highest quality beers, The Kaufbeuren Brewers Guild was formed in 1325 making a declaration that all beers produced in Kaufbeuren could only use the finest barley, hops, yeasts and the purest local waters. All other ingredients were banned. The Aktien Brewery was forever more known for their superbly crafted beers.
In 1516 Duke William IV enacted the Kingdom-wide declaration known as The German Beer Purity Law or “Reinheitsgebot” – almost two hundred years AFTER the formation of the Kaufbeuren Brewers Guild. Even back in 1325 they were innovating – 200 years later they were still ahead of their time. 700 years after they first started brewing beer they are still going strong – ABK – The original craft beer.
