Chateau Bianca Winery & Vineyard is a family owned and operated winery established nearly three decades ago in the Mid-Willamette Valley , on Butler Hill outside of Dallas Oregon. They keep their annual production intentionally small and are committed to high quality wines at exceptional values.
They produce mainly Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc with a limited production of Sparkling wines, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Marechal Foch, CharA view of the Chateau through the vineyard on Butler Hill at Chateau Bianca. donnay, Ruby Port, Vin de Glace, and specialty wines.
Their winemaker, Andreas Wetzel and his family carry on the fourth-generation wine-making tradition. His great-grandfather started wine production in the area near Wurzburg, Germany. This love of winemakeing continues today across the globe. For over 35 years, the family has been producing wines in beautiful Oregon.

The Willamette Valley with its gentle rolling hills and unique microclimatic sites allows Oregon to produce some of the finest Pinot Noirs in the world. Chateau Bianca Winery’s estate vineyard is trained to a vertical upright canopy.
This allows for shoot positioning, leaf removal and enhanced air circulation. This in turn, develops color and concentrates flavor in their wines. Their winemaking philosophy consistently produces superior quality wines with intense flavor profiles that are marketed at an irresistible value.

Andreas Wetzel, Owner, Winemaker, Vineyard manager, floor sweeper and mess cleaner upper is the fourth generation of Wetzel’s to produce wine. Having mostly experiential training and a passion for “food friendly” wines his goal is to bring to market approachable and irresistible values. At the end of the day his job is to make people a little bit happier and a little more satisfied with life by having a nice glass of wine for food, family and friends. Prost!

David Roland La Bonte III was born to his Executive Chef father David R. La Bonte Jr. and Project Manager Mother Janet La Bonte under a full moon on a dark and stormy night in August. The stars aligned to bring forth the greatest mind to come to the world of wine. Come to the vineyard and bask in his knowledge and glory as he preaches from on mountain high(or Butler hill). He also has his Culinary Art and Hospitality Management degrees from Lane Community College in Eugene, OR and his first level with the Court of Master Sommelier. He’s pretty cool.
